Practical meetings are a crucial part of the daily operations. They are held every night at 7 p.m., mainly at Carlito's Bar. The meetings provide information on all that is happening in and around Phi Phi Island, and they are also intended to welcome new volunteers that have arrived.

We try to make these gathering a bit of fun. After all, the islanders and volunteers that work together combine loads of charm and talent. Our dear friend Doug, who stayed for over two months helping, realized smiles on all our faces. Mitch, from Canada, recently arrived and brought much joy for the local kids. But also the presence of James and Simon from Australia will be remembered for long. And all others 2, of course!
